Everything in After Bingo is a drawing seen from straight above, the way the camera sees it: six regulars of a bingo club, the eight weapons they fight with, and the knives, outfits and hats they can wear. This page shows the best of those drawings, says who each character is and tells you how each prize is earned or bought. None of it changes how hard you hit: the looks are yours to choose, and the fight stays fair.
Each character is one drawing, cut into seven parts: the body, the shirt, the head, two arms and two feet. The game moves those parts to make the breath, the stride, the swing and the recoil, so the figure you see in a match is the drawing itself, not a strip of frames. Every drawing shares one look: a thick black outline, flat colours with one light edge, and no shadow on the floor.
The shirt is grey inside the game and takes the colour of your seat in the match, so you can tell the players apart at a glance; on Pearl and Mabel it is the collar. Each weapon has its own drawing of the arms that hold it, which is why the bat sits on the shoulder and the tazer is held out in one hand.
The six characters
Six regulars of the bingo club fight in the hall and in the forest. Three are yours from the first game: you pick one on your first visit and can switch on the Profile at any time. The other three are sold in the Store and wait there behind a padlock until you buy them. Every character has the same health and the same knife, and the bots never wear prizes.
StanFree. Bald, with heavy white eyebrows, a brown jacket and a yellow shirt. He is ticked first on the pick.
LouFree. Glasses, a grey beard and a black jacket over a light blue shirt with cuffs to match.
PearlFree. A grey bun, glasses and a string of pearls over a flowered dress, in a purple cardigan.
OtisIn the Store. A checked flat cap, a white moustache and a red jacket with blue braces. His walking stick stays home in a match.
GusIn the Store. Grey side hair and beard, a light blue shirt printed with diamonds, red braces and grey shorts.
MabelIn the Store. Grey curls, hoop earrings and a teal cable-knit vest over a yellow shirt.
The eight weapons
Everyone spawns with the knife; the other seven lie on the floor of each map and come back a while after someone takes them. The bat, the tazer and the bazooka are shown in Stan's hands, the way the game holds them, and the rest as drawings of their own. Damage, reach and speed are on the weapons page.
KnifeA steel dagger with a ridged brown handle. The weakest weapon, and the fastest one to run with.
Baseball batA plain wooden bat, carried over the shoulder. Its swing sweeps from the right shoulder round to the front.
SledgehammerA steel block on a long wooden handle. The blow lands a moment after you press, and one is enough.
ShotgunBlue steel on a wooden stock. It fires one heavy slug, and two of them win the fight.
FlamethrowerPurple, with a yellow tank and a pilot flame that never goes out. Hold the attack and it pours fire.
TazerYellow, with blue sparks at the tip. Its dart holds whoever it hits in place for a moment.
SMGBlack from stock to muzzle. Hold the attack and it keeps firing; ten rounds bring a man down.
BazookaAn olive green tube with a yellow band, rested on the shoulder. Its rocket bursts and hurts everyone near it but the shooter.
Outfits
An outfit dresses Stan or Lou, sleeves and all, in every weapon's hold. Lou wears each one here; the shirt underneath still takes your seat's colour.
