Who we are
After Bingo is made and run by ShipCore. ShipCore and Merknu are trading names of Hakkens Trading, Lovensbroek 3, 5541 HG Reusel, the Netherlands, registered with the Dutch Chamber of Commerce (KvK) under 67549640, VAT number NL002349156B80. Email: support@shipcore.io.
Who sells the golden bingo balls
Golden bingo balls are sold in two places:
- In the Android app, Google Play sells them through its own payment sheet. Google Play's terms of service and its refund policy apply to the payment.
- On the website (afterbingo.app/play), Link, Stripe's checkout, sells them as the seller of record: it takes the payment, charges and pays the VAT, sends the receipt and handles questions about the payment. Link's payment terms, shown at the checkout, govern the payment.
In both places we deliver the golden balls in the Game, and these terms govern what they are and what you can do with them. The Mac and Windows versions of the Game sell nothing.
What golden bingo balls are
Golden bingo balls are a currency inside the Game. When you buy them, you get a personal licence to use them in the Game, to buy what its Store sells. They are not money: they have no cash value, cannot be exchanged for money or for anything outside the Game, and may not be sold, traded or passed on to another person. We do not buy them back, except as the sections on withdrawal and refunds below say.
The Game also gives golden bingo balls: 10 for each rank you reach, once for each rank. The red bingo balls you earn in rounds are another currency, and they are never sold.
What they buy
The Store sells looks (knives, outfits, hats and dash trails) and characters (Otis, Gus and Mabel), alone or in sets. None of them gives an advantage: every look and every character has the same health, weapons, speed and reach as the free ones. They change only how you look.
The Store sells no random items: there are no loot boxes and no packs with hidden contents. You always see what you get, and its price, before you buy.
Prices
The Store shows every price before you buy. A pack of golden bingo balls has a price in money: in the Android app in your currency as Google Play shows it, with your country's taxes included; on the website in euros with VAT included, which Link's checkout may show converted into your own currency before you pay. An item in the Store has a price in golden balls. A set costs less than its items bought one by one, and you pay only for the items of it you do not own yet.
How a purchase is delivered
Golden balls arrive as soon as Google Play or Link confirms the payment; on the website that is usually within a minute, and the Store counts them in by itself. A payment that is still pending, as some payment methods are for a while, is delivered once it goes through.
The Game has no accounts yet. Golden balls, and what you buy with them, belong to the installation that bought them: the Android app on that phone or tablet, or the Game in that browser on that device. Store > Link another device connects two installations with a code that is good for 10 minutes: once linked, they share one wallet of golden balls and everything bought with it.
Until the Game has accounts, please know this: if you delete the Android app, clear its data, or clear the browser's data for afterbingo.app, an installation that is not linked to another one can lose its golden balls and what it bought with them. Link a second device to keep them safe. If you lost them anyway, write to us with the time of the purchase and its Google Play order number or Link receipt, and we will help where we can find the purchase.
Your right of withdrawal on the website
If you are a consumer in the European Union and buy golden bingo balls on the website, you may withdraw from the purchase within 14 days of it without giving a reason: write to support@shipcore.io, or ask Link's support. Link, as the seller, applies the cooling-off rules of your country, including what they say about digital content that is delivered at once. Whatever those rules say, a pack whose golden balls are all still in your wallet is refunded on request within 14 days of the purchase.
For a purchase in the Android app, Google Play's refund policy applies: ask Google Play for a refund, or write to us.
Refunds and chargebacks
When a purchase is refunded or charged back, by Google Play, by Link or by us, we take its golden balls back from the wallet that received them. If they were already spent, the wallet's balance goes below zero: nothing can be bought with golden balls until it is above zero again, and golden balls bought or given later fill the gap first. What was bought with them stays yours.
Changes to the Store
We may add items to the Store, change its prices, or stop selling an item. What you already own stays yours, and the golden balls in your wallet keep their number. If a price changes while the Store is open, the Game shows the new price and asks again before anything is spent.
Misuse
We may take back golden balls, or close a wallet, that came from fraud or abuse: a payment that was not yours to make, golden balls got through a fault in the Game or the Store, or a link code used to pass golden balls to another person. We tell you why when we do, and you can write to us about it.
What we promise, and what we cannot
We build the Game with care, but it comes as it is: its online services may be down now and then, and the Store may not be available everywhere. As far as the law allows, we are not liable for what follows from using the Game or from not being able to. Nothing in these terms takes away a right the law gives you as a consumer.
Law and disputes
Dutch law governs these terms. If you are a consumer in another country, you keep the protection of its mandatory rules. A dispute goes to the competent court in the Netherlands, unless consumer law lets you go to your own.
If something goes wrong, write to us first: most problems are solved by an email. If we cannot settle it together, ConsuWijzer, the consumer desk of the Dutch Authority for Consumers and Markets (ACM), explains your rights (https://www.consuwijzer.nl), and if you live in another country of the European Union, the European Consumer Centre of your country helps with a dispute across borders (https://www.eccnet.eu).
Changes to these terms
When these terms change, the date at the top says so; a change that matters to what you bought is announced in the Game first.
